The Canac dog head collar is recommended by veterinary professionals and trainers alike and is a kind and effective way of stopping your dog pulling on the lead.

The head collar effectively works by countering a dogs natural instinct to pull against pressure in 3 ways:
  • Gentle pressure is applied to the back of the dogs neck which naturally stimulates a relax response, the same as when a mother grabs her pup by the scruff of the neck.
  • Gentle pressure is also applied around the muzzle of the nose loop also stimulating a relax response,
  • and the muzzle has the same properties as a halter on a horse, where the nose goes the body follows.
